Raspberry Pi is an affordable and small functional computer that has lots of potential from the The Raspberry Pi Foundation, a non-profit organization. The Raspberry Pi is on its 3rd generation with millions sold allowing children and adults to be productive, learn and experiment with.
Recently they came out with a Raspberry Pi Zero which was priced at $5 but quickly sold out and became impossible to find. They quickly found their way to eBay fetching $35-$40 each. It has been rumored the Zero will be available again soon as they were putting all their resources on getting the Pi 3 out the door. The Pi Zero is smaller but it requires several adaptors to get it going and only has a single micro-usb instead of the 4 port USB the other Pi boards.
